Role:
This position is not for the faint hearted. Every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. In this role you will have the opportunity to help shape our clients’ strategic communications to their key audiences using video. You will:
1. Carry out pre-production work for shoots (booking crews, sourcing locations, permits, writing interview questions etc)
2. Support the 24-7 NYC team with content publishing and delivery
3. Edit a-roll, b-roll, webisodes
4. Direct lower-profile shoots (bites and b-roll). We will not expect you to be able to carry out a CEO interview when you start, but you should be able to grow into that role
5. Project manage larger production projects off site
6. Manage all production vendor relationships we have in Europe (crews, producer/directors, studios, edit suites, webcasting, satellite services)

Background / desired experience:
• 3-years experience as assistant producer / editor
• BBC or equivalent-trained
• Good rolodex of production resources: crews, edit facilities, satellite trucks, etc.
• Competent in FCP
• Experience operating Beta SP, Digitbeta, DVCam decks, Wave Form Monitors, patch panels, standards converters
• Innovative and good self-starter
